LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS:
- The Online Applications can be filled upto - 1st April, 2012.
- The last date for receiving printed copy of Online Application Form along with enclosures/certificates is 19th April 2012.
The Union Public Service Commission will hold a Limited Competitive Examination,2012 commencing from 20 th of May, 2012 for induction in the Indian Police Service.The examination will be held at the following centers; namely:- Delhi, Kolkata, Nagpur, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Guwahati.
PLAN OF EXAMINATION : The Indian Police Service Limited Competitive Examination will consist of two Successive stages:- Written Examination & Interview for Personality for Personality Test.

HOW TO APPLY: Candidates must apply Online by using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in. In case of any difficulty in filling up of the On-line Application Form, candidates are advised to contract the facilitation counter of the Commission or over Telephone No. 011-23389366/ Fax No. 011-23387310, on working days between 10:00 hours and 17:00 hours.
