Age limit : 18-28 years as on 01/12/2011. Age relaxation as per Govt. rules.
Clerical posts – Stenographers
Number of Vacancies : 1000 posts (Hindi-100, English-900) in various states in India (UR-537, OBC-250, SC-137, ST-79) (PH-175)
Pay Scale : Rs.7200-19300/-
Qualifications : Minimum 12th Standard (10 + 2) pass or equivalent qualification with a minimum of aggregate 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS). OR A degree (Graduation level) from a recognised university.
Age limit : 18-28 years as on 01/12/2011. Age relaxation as per Govt. rules.

Scientific Assistant

Pay Scale: Rs.12000-16000/-PM
Qualification: Post-graduate in Bio-chemistry/bio-physics/Bio-technology/Zoology/ Genetics with consistently good academic record. Candidates having working experience in a molecular genetics laboratory will be preferred.
Age Limit: 35 Years.

Walk-In-Interview will be conducted on 16th March, 2012 at 11.00 AM in Room No.520 (Library Building) at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Candidates appearing for the interview are required to bring with them the application addressed to Prof-in-Charge, Biological Sciences Division, ISI Kolkata along with bio-data station (a) Name; (b) Address and Telephone Number; (c) E-mail address ; (d) Father’s/Husband’s Name; (e) Date of Birth; (f) Educational Qualifications (with percentage of marks obtained in each examination); (g) Work experiences, and (h) SC/ST/OBC status along with attested copies of all certificates. They should also bring the original copies of the certificates for verification. Candidates will have to report on the day of interview half an hour before the time.
